Platform CNC in the shop!

Early this year my new cnc kit arrived.

It took ten days to assemble enough to run.

Waiting since November allowed me to study most of the software I needed to learn to run the machine. Guess what, I am still over the learning curve. But it allowed me to try it out with a simple carve.

Two months later, I get my first paying project.

It is a bench seat that resembles a longboard.

How to extend the cut capacity of the Bosch 4100 tablesaw

Add any piece of material at the edge of the adjustable table of the 4100

Then use another way to check the distance. Since the table is adjustable, the distance can be set as needed.

 From 25" it now has a 28 7/8" rip capacity... Simple, adjustable and cheap..  

Bear... More than the average dog

Shop is getting more paint this time. Not as fast as I hope it would be, but since we have an ongoing project with deadlines, I couldn't complain Progress is progress no matter how slow it comes. I pray more projects come to our shop as the days, weeks and years pass....
